The Victoria Clipper was a great ride from Seattle to
Victoria BC. Less than 3 hours.
Out at dinner with friends from BC.
Beneath the Seas (right) was interesting, sort of, lots of ugly rock fish, the octupus stole the show...
Plasterman was really nifty to say the least, I thought it
was a statue when I walked past... Was I surprised.
These little boats was a great way to get around the inner
and outer harbor.
Most pubs had Stella...
The inner bay on left was full of traffic all day. The Empress was large.
The parliament building was pretty impressive.
Nancy's highlight of the trip was whale watching. Could not have scripted a better trip to see the whales.
Went on a Wed, early boat at 9am. Seas were calm and clear. There were a ton of Orcas coming back in from the ocean.
We saw at 50 to 60 of them. Even the boat operators had not seen any like this. There were groups of 3-6 all over the
place and just had to wait for them to cruise buy the boat.
The sea lions were loud and boisterous.
Inner Harbor is scenic.
Last night in Victoria.
Stayed at the Royal Scot - Nice suites, great location.
